Glen Dornoch Waterway Golf Links
About
This beautiful facility is located on 270 pristine acres at the North end of the Grand Strand. Blessed with a unique topography and large mature trees, the course meanders down to the inter-coastal waterway with scenic vistas to distract you at every turn.
This 6900 yard Clyde Johnston design is owned and managed by the same group that developed the fabled Heather Glen links and the service you have grown to expect from this organization is evident the moment you drive up to the clubhouse. Give this course a try the next time you vist the Myrtle Beach area. You won't be disappointed!

#16...413 yards long...layup off tee with 3 wood leaving 165 yards into 15 mph and no misses allowed-this is not gimmicky-a little tough, maybe! Photo submitted by LarryNoli on 08/02/2017

Great course with nice views.
Love the course. 16,17 and 18 are crazy. Good shape. The cart guy was a little jerky. Bitched at us when we loaded up on a cart.
Challenging Course
Tough course to play by yourself, when you have never played it or really checked it out, lot of spot shots and carries also some really nasty sand traps, but would surely play it again, really pretty lay out 👍👍
Another great round
Been playing at Glen Dornoch for many years, usually in the spring and fall. Very enjoyable to have a course that is free from houses all along the way. Played as a twosome which I always appreciate (not opposed to getting paired up but it's nice when the course isn't so congested that every group is a foursome). It was a windy day and the course was in good shape so was somewhat challenging. Very good pace-- we finished 18 in a little under 4 hours without hurrying. The holes along the intra-coastal waterway are just beautiful in terms of scenery and views. Very enjoyable. Good driving range. No GPS on carts which is fine by me but just for awareness.
Glen Dornich great course
Great course. Great views. And a very very challenging course. Highly recommend the course.
4 singles made the Best Foursome
Fantastic course can't believe that I had never played before but I will be back. All so it was the first time as a single that I was paired up with 3 other singles and for them too. We all had a great time together. To all golfers this is a Must Play when in the Myrtle Beach area.
Make this part of your bucket list to play.
This course is a must play when in the Myrtle Beach area. You will truely enjoy it and want to come back again as I do.
Great layout and wonderful staff
Very enjoyable layout but played long as it was extremely wet after lots of rain. Course and greens were in great shape! Entire staff was so friendly and welcoming! Will definitely be back again soon!
Glen Dornoch
Course was in good shape. Generous fairways. Fast true greens. Course knowledge is definitely a help. Looking forward to playing it again.
Nice course but not for me
Conditions were generally good, but there are too many forced carries for me and especially my wife. Also having a large tree in the middle of a short par four that most people carry no get over make this course poor for me
Nice layout horrible shape
It’s a shame to pay $80 to play here. Course is in awful shape. It’s a bummer because it’s a nice layout too. Can’t tell the fairways from the rough and absolutely soaked. Played it probably 6 years ago and it’s gone downhill a ton since then. Wouldn’t recommend with all the other options in the area.
Bumpy Greens
Greens had been recently punched with holes exposed, (sand or top dressing washed down by rain). Barely playable. Bunkers had not been resanded or groomed from recent rain and had mud in bottoms .
Guess aeration is a necessary evil, but courses should either give fair warning or reduce green fee during healing.
Nice course
Very nice views, only issue was better have good game some tough holes.
