Bunker Hill
Love this course and I love the people who work and golf here. I travel 80 minutes everytime I want to play here because that is how fun this tract is. Pace of play is usually less than 4 hours and even if it is slow, you're still done in 4.5. It's February so I'm never too harsh with course conditions however bunkers are not seasonal. Fix them. There are grassy borders that make a shelf inside the bunkers and instead of attaching the rakes to the carts, leave them outside the bunkers. I'm usually good with my rake for about 4 times and then the rake gets abandoned somewhere else and the only thing I have to fix my bunker shot is my shoe. I'm not the only one either because you'll see the same thing in all the bunkers at some point. Bunker play is not a round killer for me usually but with the neglected bunkers and inconsistent sand that are in them it makes for a crushing day when luck turns on you and you have to take an unplayable from the Bunker. This really is my only gripe. Well, number 11 is the devils hole but that's a whole different story. Love the course, love the staff, hate the bunkers.
Course is fun to play but challenging for a high handicapper.
The course is in very good shape with water and sand traps on many of the holes.
The starter was outstanding. Very friendly and helpful.
The only negatives about the course are the rough cart paths and the lack of a hole map on the scorecard.
Love this gem
We are never disappointed when we play the Wellman Club. Great conditions and great value.
Very nice course
While the cart paths are rough nothing else on this course deserves a complaint. It is a good layout and well maintained. Pace of play was great and you can't beat the price. A must play.
The thing is y’all charged me three times on the 16 y’all never confirm but one tee time so you charged me 20.45 twice and18.42 was the only tee time that was confirmed
Great course for the price
Honestly had low expectations, but this course has a great layout and is well taken care of. Cart paths aren't great, but that seems to be a theme in the state. No complaints for the price, you will enjoy the challenge.
Great course, no gps
The course plays awesome! The greens are challenging and fast af. The course was recently redone and The Grint App does not have it GPS'd. Their scorecard also does not show the course layout, thus making some shots a bit more challenging.
Nice little municipal course!
Nice little course! Just reopened in 4/23. Played on Xmas Eve ‘23 w/ my son. $27 a guy! Definitely worth the $
