Charlestonian Golf: Experience the Magic

CHARLESTON, SC - Southern Luxury Cruises has announced the commission of the Charlestonian, a 93-foot luxury yacht designed for the ultimate golf cruise through the South Carolina Lowcountry Intracoastal Waterway.

Built and owned by Ted E. Andrae, III, the Charlestonian features all the comforts of a five-star hotel, gourmet cuisine, support staff and complimented with premier Charleston-area lowcountry golf.

The Charlestonian Golf cruise is built for eight guests (golfers). The first floor of the yacht offers quiet, first class accommodations, featuring four twin single bed cabins and private baths, and a master king size suite with home office accessories.

The heart of the Charlestonian is the second floor reception, library, entertainment, and dining rooms. After dinner guest can sit at the mahogany bar, or visit the Captain on the bridge. The third floor is open-air seating, centered by an island bar.

The introduction of the Charlestonian features two luxury golf cruise packages, a three-night, four days of golf ($30,000) and five-night, six days of golf schedule ($46,000). Prices include all expenses, i.e., meals, lodging, golf, gratuities and extra amenities.

Both excursions depart and return from the Charlestonian's port-of-call the Isle of Palms Marina, 20 minutes north of historic Charleston. A second night stop includes Bohicket Marina, within minutes of Kiawah and Seabrook Islands. During the five-day trip a third night is spent at Dataw Island (Beaufort).

Golf is played on the lowcountry's premier golf courses, including Kiawah Island, Dataw Island, Wild Dunes, with additional properties to be announced.
