"The Carolinas Golf Foundation is committed to improving the game
of golf at all levels in North and South
Carolina. This would not be possible without the support of donors
whom have given so graciously to the foundation this past year,"
stated Charles Lynch, Chairman of the Carolinas Golf Foundation. "We
likely will announce additional grant aid in the coming months,"
Lynch added.
The CGF has provided more than $339,000 in scholarship and research
project grants since 1977. The actions and administrative costs
of the CGF are absorbed by the Carolinas Golf Association, thus
allowing 100% of the monies to go directly to these groups.
All contributions to the Carolinas Golf Foundation, a 501(c)3 not-for-profit
organization, are fully tax deductible and go directly to fund Carolinas
turfgrass programs and various golf organizations. Donations may be made
