The Sprint Long Drive Contest of the Midlands

JUNE 6, 2001 - The West Metro Chamber of Commerce along with Par Tee Golf Center is hosting a Long Drive Contest that will benefit the South Carolina Junior Golf Association.

The event is to be held at the Par Tee Golf Center on Hwy. 321 in Cayce. It will be on June 16th starting at 11:00a.m. There will be seven amateur divisions as well as celebrity and professional divisions.

During the event we will also be conducting a "Clubs for Kids" program, which offers free instruction and golf clubs to all kids interested. There will be a grab bag for all paid entries with prizes such as golf shirts; as well as a silent auction. Food will also be available during the event. Winners of each division will receive gift certificates and trophies. Please bring the entire family as there will be something for everyone that day!
