The Senior Four Ball is a 36-hole four ball, stroke play championship.
The field will be flighted after the opening round at The Currituck Club
and will play the final round at Nags Head Golf Links.
The Currituck Club course, which is cut out of a maritime forest,
will play to a par of 72 over 6404 yards. Nags Head Golf Links, being
true to its name, is spread over natural dunes, has few trees and will
play to a par of 71 over 6126 yards.
The most recognizable name in the long history of this event belongs
to amateur great, Billy Joe Patton from Morganton,
NC. In 1973 Patton and his partner Dale Morey of High

in Senior Four Ball history having teamed with three different men to
capture an astonishing twelve titles.
