Aging Course but Great Value for $26
6.5 for course conditions. Greens and fairways were decent. Bunkers need work - were all clay, no sand really. Fun layout giving some decision making holes. Also, open enough to forgive some errant tee shots. Clubhouse is very dated, but they have everything you would need from snacks to drinks to golf items. Give yourself 10 mins to check in. They don’t have a great system it seems, but they make up for their inefficiencies with friendliness. Decent pace of play; we only waited 2-3 mins on holes and played in 3:54 with 4 people on two tee boxes.
ADVICE: Be careful driving in and out and whole standing on 17 tee. The driving range has no nets protecting the righty slice or long ball from the tee. You could totally get nailed or break a windshield.
Hot Deal
Booked this on a hot deal. For $30 for 18 is was worth it. Wouldn’t pay much more than that though.
Not very welcoming
I will not be back. I can tell when my money is not appreciated so I will make it my business not to return. It doesn't cost anything to be nice and respectful. Treat people the way you want to be treated.
Fun course to play
The greens are very challenging. The course was in good condition. Play was slow, but it was a beautiful day. We will definitely play here again..
Needs work, but challenging.
This course was fun to play but the fairways and greens need some work. Good layout and friendly staff.
WIDE OPEN COURSE
If you're new to golfing this is the place to play. The fairways are as wide as a driving range. This course is great if you're wanting to work on things, because you always have a shot at the green. The greens are in great shape and will challange your putting on the front 9. A lot of back to front movement on greens. Back 9 greens are bigger and more forgiving when putting.
Need your driver to putt!
THE GREENS WERE SLOWER THAN PUTTING ON Carpet. The sand traps were mud. Very poor conditions even for Springlake!
Last resort
The green are in good shape but that's the only nice thing i have to say.
The fairways are mixed grass and weeds and no different from the rough. The layout is not great and does not offer much variety. Pace of play is hit or miss but usually slow. There are much nicer courses to play for the same rate or less.
This is usually a last option for a last minute decision to play. Not somewhere i would recommend if you are looking for a good course or even value. Its basically a driving range of 18 holes.
