The 18-hole Wizard Golf Club in Myrtle Beach, SC is a public golf course that opened in 1996. Designed by Dan Maples, Wizard Golf Club measures 6721 yards from the longest tees and has a slope rating of 119 and a 70.4 USGA rating. The course features 4 sets of tees for different skill levels. The greens are bent grass and the fairways are bermuda.

When architect Dan Maples set out to create a different kind of course, the earth moved - an astounding 800,000 cubic yards of earth was move to create a bit of mountain golf, full of devilish elevation changes, with even a touch of rock bridges, right here in Myrtle Beach. If you though all beach courses were alike, just wait until you fall under The Wizard's power. Bentgrass greens, practice facilities, unique castle clubhouse.

Part of the Mystical golf group along with Man O'war and The Witch. As a local who has transplanted from NY, I believe they are some of the best values around for the money. All courses are always in awesome shape. Very playable for all abilities. Staff super friendly and accommodating at all courses. Pace of play usually pretty good. Highly recommend. 16, 17, and 18 are 3 of the toughest finishing holes in Myrtle...
