Legacy Pines Golf Club

This is a course that is really well laid-out and worth the travel. It is an hour and a half from my house and though the trip is long the experience is great! So many of the holes are so unique it is not like playing the same hole over and over. Greens are in perfect shape but the fairways were a little matted because of the wet weather we have had. I encourage everyone who loves to play golf and enjoy a course to go.

I’ve played here 3 times in the last 6 months and each time the pace of play has been horrendous. This is due to not having a starter on the course to pair people up as there are singles out there waiting for Groupie of 2 and 3 to hit. I asked two different groups to join up with me and they both declined, they were terrible players but that doesn’t matter, the pace of play would have been much better.

Was going great as a single until the 8th hole. There were 4 groups backed up on the tee. Joined the single behind me then on the 10th we were backed up again. Twosome be mind us joined us and we waited on every hole. Still, the outing was fun and I made new friends. Course was just ok. Greens were in pretty good shape. Fairways were hard and limited grass in spots. Just need some spring growth. Course layout is fun. Makes you think on almost every hole.

Great day at good price for golf but play was slow and fivessomes took precedence. Like this golfcourse but this expeerience was bad due to the slow play and lack or adherence to T-times.

Super friendly staff. Matched up with three very compatible golfers and had a great day. Yardage book included with green fee was very helpful as this was my first visit. Very smooth greens are sloped and present a challenge but were fair if approach shot was kept below the hole. Will certainly play there again.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. It was drizzling rain a little but the course conditions very still good. It was our first time playing there. Enjoyed the layout.

Nice course with great greens. Staff is attentive and very accommodating.

We have played Legacy for years as one of our courses we rotate play. Much improved by new owners and the greens are in great shape.

This course has become the main course for me because of the value and comfort that comes along with it. Greens are beautifully maintained year-round. Tee times are easy to set up with a friendly staff. Greens fees are more than competitive for a fairly challenging course. Clubhouse prices for the grill as well as beer/liquor are great. I've brought many friends along with me and we always have a great time.

Legacy Pines is truly one of the best courses in the Upstate. The greens are perfect, and the course is extremely playable.

This isn’t a great course to play at. It’s usually pretty well maintained year round and the staff is always incredibly friendly and helpful. I’m still a beginner and this course has holes that range in difficulty. The elevation changes also provide some great views from on top of certain holes. Overall would highly recommend!

Had a 12:50 tee time. I showed up at 12:10 and was told to go ahead and head out as a single. Before I teed off a two some pulled up behind me. I asked them if they wanted to play since it would be a long day seeing that there were a lot of groups of 4somes ahead of me. They said no and refused to play as a 3some. Took almost 3 hours to play the front nine. Horrible pace of play.

Bill and I met at Legacy Pines again on Tuesday, Dec. 19th. We were paired with two younger guys. One was from Austria and the other lived locally. We had a great day at the golf course. We each had a hotdog at the turn and mine was perfect. I marvel at the improvements on the course under the present management. The greens were really fast. I know that Legacy Pines will be a repeat course for us.
