Ocean at Kiawah Island Resort

The 18-hole Ocean at Kiawah Island Resort in Kiawah Island, SC is a resort golf course that opened in 1991. Designed by Pete Dye, Ocean at Kiawah Island Resort measures 7356 yards from the longest tees and has a slope rating of 144 and a 77.2 USGA rating. The course features 5 sets of tees for different skill levels. The fairways are bermuda grass.

Located at the eastern end of Kiawah Island, the Ocean Course meanders along 2 3/4 miles of pristine oceanfront property. According to Pete Dye, "there's no other golf course in the Northern Hemisphere that has as many seaside holes."
