Passing through
We played nine holes on this course on our way passing through to Hilton Head South Carolina. Quite enjoyed the course. Staff were very friendly and as we were two players it was nice that we were not paired up with any one else
Good Time With Friends
The course is in great shape. The new greens keeper has definitely earned his keep. The weather was almost perfect except for the wind. Other than that we had 2 teams of 3 playing captains choice and not once were we rushed or had to wait.

Excellent course for the price!
Definitely one of the nicest courses in Florence, SC. The grass was in good condition and, on average, the greens were great--there's patches where things have been repaired--but overall, for the price, this course is great. I would highly recommend. Decent challenge with several ponds/lakes but overall, relatively easy course. Definitely recommend.
Great value
My brother in law came down from PA and I took him to Traces. He is already making plans to return for another visit so we can play another few rounds at Traces.
GREAT TIME
WAS GREETED AT DOOR WITH A WARM SMILE.
THEY SHOWED ME AROUND AND HAD SMALL TALK. VERY ENJOYABLE
Trace Golf Club
Some of the Creekside greens weren't in good shape, but overall the course was in good shape. The owner was nice enough to stop by our table afterwards to spend a few minutes, ask our opinion, and tell us of the upgrades they are in the process of implementing, and explain the issues with Creekside greens. He is very committed to make it a great place to play and have players want to stay for a while after their round.
The course layout was great
The overall course was great some of the greens were not in good shape. But I would play this track again once it's greener.
Greens need some attention
Such a nice layout and friendly staff ,even though greens need work it was very enjoyable ,we will go back later in spring and check greens.
Excellent golf course to play.
I enjoyed playing this golf course. There are some very challenging holes with dog legs and lakes. I really like the large greens. Some of them are pretty fast. This is a nice play to go. The cheeseburger was really good too.
Staff was less then friendly
When i arrived early for my tee time i was told that since golfnow got all my money and the course recieved none i would have to pay addional money if i wanted to tee off early. the course staff said they would pair me up with a group so i payed the extra. they paired me with a young man who was not a skilled player and was not even playing 18 holes.
Great Layout. Great Staff.
Course conditions were great. A lot of "risk reward" holes which made it even more enjoyable. The entire staff was very friendly and helpful. Looking forward to another chance to play this course.
