Greens are GREEN.
The staff was awesome, loved the course, and a great way to spend a dollar. I will come again. Greens are great but challenging.
good course for the money will be back with some friend
will be back more oftens .hopefully better score next time around
Nice course, will return.
Older country club but the course is still in nice shape. Some interesting holes and worth playing.
Mediocre at Best
An old course and it is quite apparent. The 1st tee is combined with the 10th tee so you need to be careful to know which direction to go because the course is poorly signed. Tee boxes are quite close to greens on many holes so be careful with wayward shots, yours and others. Also, some holes have tee shots that carry over a hill so we had to drive up to see it the fairway was clear before we could tee off (One hole had a bell but it was broken). Fairways are sometimes as fluffy as the rough (could be the time of year though). Thick, heavy sand in the bunkers and a shortage of rakes which unfortunately makes some people neglect the clean-up. The only on-course facility was non-operational and dirty for both ladies and men. Greens were old style small and in many cases sloped to the front and a little hard, so shots did not check up very well. All in all, the course was just okay and we got on for a good price but, given another choice, I think I would take it.
Great Experience
Always a challenge and a great value. The course is fairly short but greens and approaches are difficult. Putting this time of year is fast and true. Sand lurking at every green and sloped sides make for an old school experience. Always enjoyable!
Great Venue
The Course and the Staff were excellent and we had a great day. We thought it represented great value and will certainly be going back there - Thanks to all at Anderson G&CC and to Golfnow.com for getting us this excellent deal - Keith
Old Style Heritage Course
This course has been around for a long time and the heritage is there. Old style contemporary course. Wide open fairways, and postage stamp greens. You can score well, but you have to be precise to hit the greens. Very small. The one complaint is the course is not Laser friendly. GPS picked it up and yardage was true. Watch out for 1-9 tee box as they are the same. Must play if you are on a Golf Junket like we were
I frequently and like it a lot
i think that this course is very challenging, it has some very tight holes and some very small greens to hit.
Best greens of any public course!!!!
Plush greens as soft as a pillow. Great wide open fairways. Long and straight. great course to dial it in.
This course is a great place for the average golfer.
I really enjoy playing this course. As a relative newcomer to the game, this course offers a great experience for my game.
