Springfield 8-8-20 Review
Everything was great, and not the “that’s great” my wife says halfway through an answer she doesn’t care about. There was laughter smiles and memories made. Not at home, but at the golf course. “Maybe you (I) should live there“ direct quote with proper paraphrasing. Sometimes I think, maybe I should.

What a Gem!
Excellent track with a nice combination of subtle elevation changes, slight bends, undulated greens and traps. The surrounding housing is barely noticeable on only a few holes. Not a good course for beginners but very playable Yet challenging for all other handicaps. I would definitely come back.

I Love This Course But.....
A paying customer has the right to leave an honest review without being harrassed.
I play over 100 rounds every year at many different courses so I would expect my opinion to be valued and NOT insulted.
Springfield is a wonderful place but their greens are just not five star caliber - right now I would rate them at only three stars.
I attached a new picture I took today on Green #1 if you think I'm wrong - reminder: half your strokes are on the greens!
Compare the green at Springfield to the pic of the green I took at Eagle Chase:
I go to Eagle Chase only once a week because it is so far away (50 min) - Springfield is the closest course to my house (10 min).
I will continue going to Springfield because I love it very much - it is a beautiful course with fantastic facilities and an excellent staff but my reviews will always remain sincere.

Great course
Course was great. Greens were very well kept. Carts were very clean. Most of the staff was very friendly with the exception of the afternoon Starter. He was a complete jerk. Talked down to us like we did not belong there. Telling us that the course was very difficult and might have to skip holes to keep up with people. My partner and I played low 90s (for 18 holes) and had to actually wait on other people because we were too quick.
Would come back again because we really enjoyed the course and the cost.

Great condition - Covid conscious
Course was in great condition and they made some thoughtful changes for the pandemic. Scored a 7am tee time and managed to beat most of the heat, as well as the crowd. Finished under 4 hours, but I think we were first to tee off. Fairly narrow course with tree-lined fairways and some interesting elevation changes. Greens were in good condition and rolled true. Will definitely be back soon.

A Springfield Saturday
The course is straight dope! Fairways were cut so fresh and so clean. Greens healed better than boxers face. Pace was 3:45 with a 930 tee time, never seeing the group ahead or behind. So if you’re interested in a bangin good time, this place is tight!

They charge $75.00 on a weekend?
They aerated around 3 weeks ago yet the greens are still a mess!!!

My Go To
The course is great but the staff makes it my go to course. Everyone is always friendly and willing to help out in any way to make your experience better. I made a mistake booking one weekend and showed up a week earlier than was booked. Instead of saying tough luck the pro showed me the booking screen and where he could get me in then gave me a bucket of balls to hit while waiting. You can tell they care about their guests and their course!
