Golf Club At Wescott Plantation - Burn Kill Course
About
The Golf Club at Westcott Plantation is a 27-hole course that is situated within one of the area's oldest plantations. The beauty of the Lowcountry is evident throughout the golf course with centuries-old oak trees framing all the layouts and lush vegetation along every hole. The names of the courses: Oak Forest, Burn Kill, and Black Robin, all have origins in the plantation's history. Burn Kill is tighter off the tees than Oak Forest, but more generous than Black Robin. The golf course has a classic bunkering style and there are streams, ponds, and wetlands interspersed throughout for added challenge. The 8th hole is one of the most unique holes of the entire course. On this par 3, the black and blue tees attack the green from a completely different angle than the white, green, and red.

Fun relaxing course!
No hidden hazards.very playable. Staff was friendly. Just a very enjoyable course. Greens were in great shape and fairways generous for the most part. Had its fair share of challenging holes, but for first timers playing, there were no hidden hazards.
Seniors and Veterans
The course is very nice and I would highly recommend it and will. We received an unexpected discount due to our being senior citizens and an Army veteran. A very pleasant surprise. Thank you
Greens punched
No warning or discounts for punched greens, already the most expensive course in the area so I expect it to be in great shape, should have had a notice on golf now- not the 1st time thus has happened at Wescott
Very nice course
Enjoyed every aspect of this course. Golfers of all skill levels will enjoy playing this course.
Great conditions
Not very busy during the round. Like having the course to myself. Always nice to play here. You will need a mask to enter the building as this is a municipal building.
Wescott
The course was in very good shape compared to others I played in the surrounding area. The one drawback was that the area around the greens it’s fairly soft compared to the rest of the course. The people were very friendly and very helpful. As a 17 handicap, playing the course from the blue tees, it was a challenge, but a fair challenge.
Wet but good
Course had received lots of rain but greens were very smooth. Looking forward to playing this course again.
Wescott golf Saturday morning
Lucky early start, fast round even when paired with walker for first 9. No drinking water on course. No drink cart. No ball washers. Signage for drinks and restroom at turn not seen. Nice staff, confusing pricing with golf now reservation. Not sure where problem lies there. Course is in great condition and long but fair.
Nice. Course
Vacation in Charleston NC. Played in round and picked westcott on golf now. 25 min drive out 17. Found they were hosting Drive Chip Putt regional for a trip to Augusta Natl. Wide fairway not too much trouble. Course was soft from rain a few days before. Greens rolled nicely albeit a little slow. Rough was serious. Would certainly play again if in the area.
Parched
No water on course ona 95 degree day make it cart path only totally the wrong call . . There’s are major flaws in the thinking of management .
