The Cougar Point Golf course at Kiawah Island represents a complete recent update by Gary Player of one of his early design classics. his course wanders in and out of Kiawah's scenic marshes with constant, but pleasant distractions from the abundant exotic birdlife as well as a gator here and there. The course has become one of the most popular of the quartet of Kiawah tracks and gets significant repeat play from year-to-year guests as it is very friendly to the ladies as well as a good test from the back tees.
