Heritage/Museums

The Brunswick Islands are more than the sum of their dunes. If history and culture pique your interest, the Islands are more than willing to deliver. The ruins of Brunswick Town date back to colonial times, and the Museum of Coastal Carolina and nearby North Carolina Maritime Museum at Southport give visitors a more in-depth look at island life.

Outdoor Activities

You don’t come to our subtropical climate to spend your days inside. Find out why we’re known as the seafood capital of the world--throw a line off a pier or charter a boat for more serious fishing.
